Course:First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) - Classroom Blended Part 2 Course(show details)
This option is a part 2 of the full 18 hour FAW qualification. To complete this part 2 course, you must make sure you have completed the online 6 hour part 1 option first, then book and complete this part 2. If you have not done so already, you will need to find your nearest instructor using www.procourses.co.uk. This may incur an additional fee directly with the instructor (buying the online part 1 and then paying for the classroom part 2).
First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) blended part 2 for those who have completed the online part. First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.
The SIA will accept this training certificate for those seeking employment in the door supervision and security guard sector.
ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer-based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You can now become a fully qualified First Aider in the workplace, with two days of classroom training after completing this online course. This blended FAW course meets all of the requirements under the HSE and Awarding Organisations and is available as aProTrainings or Regulated Qualification.

Part 1 Blended Learning
The Part 1 of the course needs to be completed prior to attending the "Classroom Blended Part 2". Failure to do this will result in dismissal of the course.

Arrival
Please aim to arrive between 08:30 and 08:55. The site is secured and there is a gate which may be closed upon your arrival. A buzzer on the right-hand side will allow you to communicate directly with the gatekeeper, who will then open the gate. This is relevant to those intending to access the venue on foot or by vehicle.
Parking
A spacious car park is available on-site, and any designated parking bays are suitable for use. Signs will guide you to the training room/area.
Clothing
For First Aid training, comfortable footwear and appropriate attire are recommended, as practical elements, including CPR needs to be conducted.
Food/Drink
Lunch is not provided on-site or as part of the course. We suggest bringing a packed lunch and snacks to sustain you throughout the training day. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities are available. Nearby shops within walking distance offer additional lunch options from Costa Coffee and Burger King.

Valid proof of identification, preferably a driving license or passport.
Notebook and pen.
Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone (Recommended but not essential)
Certificate of completion for Part 1 e-Learning.
We recommend bringing laptops, tablets and smartphones to assist in learning and note-taking. As standard practice we try to remain paper free where we can. This includes final exams and training materials which will be provided digitally.
Facilities
Training includes a combination of theory via visual presentations and practical exercises utilising first aid disposables, equipment and dummies. Disabled access is available if needed, and free WiFi is provided on-site.
