I've been on several first aid courses in my life. Today I practices getting a victim into the recovery position from different starting points (which I've never done before). After reviewing chest compressions we discussed compressions on elderly and how one hand might be better on someone who is frail. I felt like I learned so many new things which was refreshing after years of taking dirst aid courses. I was also really happy with how supportive Pete was with questions. I can get quite nervous when I'm asked practice questions or put on the spot, but after some initial jitters I felt at ease and that I wasn't going to be judge or made to feel inferior. I will be back for other courses!

As a Dentist : This is my third year - and I always come here as it starts on time, it’s an updated course materials, good environment to learn and quiet enough to concentrate. Peter always does the practicals comprehensively with clinical scenarios and allows a discussion of any personal scenarios We may have faced in clinic and his vast experience in Emergency helps in assessing and aiding the patients under my care. The first responder annual refresher course was excellent, the trainer went above and beyond as they did on a previous course I attended.

The ILS course is great for those looking to recap on life support skills, Pete is an excellent instructor, highly knowledgeable and a relaxed yet professional approach to teaching. There is plenty of equipment available during training, all of clean and high quality.
I would highly recommend this course.
