The Outdoor Pursuits 16-Hour First Aid course is fully aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) Statement of Good Practice for Outdoor First Aid at Band 3 level. This comprehensive course covers both primary and secondary care, with a strong focus on scenarios relevant to outdoor environments where access to emergency services may be delayed or limited.
Designed with flexibility in mind, this course is typically delivered over 2 to 3 days, allowing for in-depth, hands-on training. In addition to the 16-hour course, we also offer a 1-day First Aid course and a range of tailored workplace-specific first aid options to meet your organisation’s particular needs.
All of our first aid training courses are delivered in accordance with the most up-to-date UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines and meet the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for workplace first aid provision.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
