The purpose of this FAQ Level 3 Award for First Responders on Scene: Emergency First Responder (RQF) qualification is to provide first responders with the skills, knowledge and understanding to provide the appropriate care to a casualty prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

This qualification will cover the knowledge and skills relating to scene safety and patient assessment and life-threatening emergencies, illnesses, medical conditions and injuries.
