These one-day Outdoor Pursuits First Aid qualification is aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning Outdoor First Aid Statement of Good Practice Band 2 and is designed to cover content that is appropriate and applicable to an outdoor environment.
Our Outdoor Pursuits 8-hour course will cover primary and secondary care where the EMS is not easily accessible and will include practical and theoretical assessments.
It is recommended but not required to complete our FirstAidPlus online course prior to attending to increase the number of subjects covered.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
This course comes with 8.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this.
