Capturing the interests of the children in the present moment
This short course is designed to help you be aware of the ideas behind supporting children to learn and explore.
Anna Ephgrave is the author behind that concept and she believes that children have a natural desire to learn and explore. It is the role of the practitioner to provide a inspiring environment and light the spark of imagination. Therefore instead of adult-led play you allow the child to develop their own interests through child initiated play and use these interests to further develop their knowledge.
Some of us may find in the moment planning a little challenging as there is no forward planning which to many of us is a totally new concept as we are so used to drowning under a mound of paperwork.
You will gain greater confidence in learning and applying this new concept as you attend this course.
