This course comes with 3.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this.

   • Administering first aid for various types of bleeding.
   • Properly cleaning and dressing wounds to prevent infection.
5. Respiratory Distress and Choking
   • Identifying signs of respiratory distress.
   • Performing techniques to clear airways and assist with breathing.
6. Shock and Stabilization
   • Recognizing signs of shock in animals.
   • Administering basic first aid to stabilize the animal's condition.
7. Fractures and Musculoskeletal Injuries
   • Identifying and providing first aid for fractures and musculoskeletal injuries.
   • Demonstrating proper splinting techniques.
8. Burns and Heatstroke
   • Administering first aid for burns and scalds in animals.
   • Recognizing and treating heatstroke.
9. Transporting Injured Animals
   • Safely and efficiently transporting injured animals to veterinary care facilities.
   • Using appropriate carriers and techniques.
